SWTOR Jedi Knight Leveling Builds
If you want to level up quickly in Star Wars The Old Republic, you will want to pick out the best SWTOR Jedi Knight leveling builds.
Of course, there are several options available to you as you have to progress to your advanced class of Sentinel or Guardian once you hit level 10. The best build will of course depend on the class you choose.
SWTOR Jedi Knight Leveling Builds – Sentinel
For those looking to level up as fast as possible, we recommend picking the Sentinel. Since this class is built for damage, it makes the most sense for leveling up fast. The more damage you deal, the faster you defeat your enemies and complete quests, the faster you level up.
While the Sentinel may be overpopulated in low-level flashpoints, it has the added advantage of being able to queue up for PvP and do very well. PvP does provide experience points in SWTOR, so the best SWTOR Jedi Knight leveling build should include a way for you to enter PvP and at least do decently.
Additionally, low-level flashpoints are pretty easy as you can even substitute a companion or two for real players here and come out okay. You can always respec to something more dungeon-friendly once you hit the max level, so dungeons really should not be a consideration for Jedi Knight leveling builds.
The best SWTOR Jedi Knight leveling build will be a mix of Sentinel talents. The “Combat” talent tree is great for dealing damage, since its burstiness is quite friendly for the hordes of weak mobs you tend to find yourself engaging in Star Wars The Old Republic. However, the light healing of the Watchman talent-tree helps keep you healed up which reduces downtime.
As a result, you want to put talent points in both tiers. For some specific leveling builds for Sentinel, check out our page: SWTOR Sentinel Leveling Builds.
SWTOR Jedi Knight Leveling Builds – Guardian
While we don’t recommend Guardian for the average player, you might be playing with friends or a pre-made guild that you know you are going to be the main tank for. In this situation, it may behoove you to roll as a Guardian if you know you are going to be tanking low-level dungeons.
The first thing you should know about leveling as a Guardian is that dungeons are tuned very easy for leveling up. This means that you do not actually have to spec full tanking in order to tank low-level flashpoints.
You will want to put some points in Vigilance and some in Defense if this is the case. You will need the minimum talent points in Vigilance that allow you to do damage, because when you are playing solo you do not want to deal zero damage.
Also, you should consider picking up the companion that can deal damage if you play as a Guardian. You won’t take much damage if you have a lot of points in defense, so anything that can boost your damage up will help out quite a bit.

SWTOR Jedi Knight Leveling Builds – Conclusion
While there are many different viable SWTOR Jedi Knight leveling builds out there, most players should stick to the Sentinel and mix talent points between both the Watchman and Combat tiers. If you do decide to play as Guardian, put at least a few points in Vigilance so you can at least deal some damage when you are playing solo.
Remember that most of the leveling game in SWTOR is built for solo play, so you need to pick a SWTOR Jedi Knight leveling build that is good at dealing damage no matter what advanced class you end up picking.
